How to Make Cherry Lime Dip
Homemade Cherry Juice: Optional- In a small saucepan heat 15-20 cherries and 1 Tbsp. of powdered sugar over medium heat until cherries are soft and can be mashed with a fork. Allow to cool, then mash and strain.
Beat the Dip: In a large mixing bowl, beat the cream cheese until smooth. Then, beat in the 2 1/2 Tbsp. of cherry juice. Next, beat in the lime zest and lime juice. Finally, beat in the powdered sugar and about 1/2 cup of the whipped topping.
Fold in the Whipped Topping: Then, use a spatula to fold in the remaining whipped topping.
Serve and Store: Serve with fruit, graham crackers, pretzels, or another sweet treat. Store in the fridge until ready to serve.

Store this dip in the fridge for 4-5 days (if it lasts that long!) You could freeze; however, the texture will be different.
