Ingredients
- 1 - 1 1/3 lb. ground turkey
- 1/2 small onion, grated
- 1-2 tsp. Sriracha
- 1 tsp. coconut aminos
- 1 clove of garlic, minced
- 1 tsp. fresh ginger, minced
- Salt and pepper
Instructions
- In a bowl, combine ground turkey, Sriracha, coconut aminos, garlic, ginger, salt, and pepper. Then, grate the onion directly over the ground meat. Mix gently until just combined — don’t overwork it.
- Shape into 4 evenly-sized patties. If the mixture is sticky, chill it for 10–15 minutes to help it firm up.
- Grill, pan-fry, or cook in a skillet over medium heat for 4–5 minutes per side, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F.
- Lightly toast the burger buns for extra texture and flavor. This dish also pairs well with sauteed peppers and rice.
