Strawberry Gelato

Ingredients
- 1 lb. strawberries, sliced
- 2-3 Tbsp. powdered sugar
- 1 Tbsp. lemon juice
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 2 Tbsp. honey
- 2 c. whole milk
- 1 c. heavy cream
Instructions
- In a small saucepan, heat the strawberries and powdered sugar over medium-low heat for 4-5 minutes. Turn off the stove and allow to cool.
- In a blender, blend the strawberry mixture, lemon juice, sugar, honey, and whole milk. Pour into a large mixing bowl.
- In a medium mixing bowl, beat the cream until peaks form. Next, fold-into the ice cream mixture.
- Churn in an ice cream maker for 10-12 minutes. Then, pour into a freezer-safe container and freeze for 2-3 hours.
