Layered Holiday Bark
With two kinds of chocolate and crushed candy canes, this layered holiday bark is perfect for parties or as a homemade gift!

Ingredients
- 12 oz. dark or semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 12 oz. white chocolate chips
- 2-3 candy canes, crushed
- Optional: peppermint extract
Instructions
- In a microwave-safe dish, melt the dark or semi-sweet chocolate, stirring after 20-second increments. If desired, stir in 1/2 tsp. of peppermint extract. Pour onto parchment paper or a silicone mat. Spread into a thin layer. Allow to cool until mostly set, about 10-15 minutes if placed in the fridge. If it sets completely, the layers will likely separate.
- In a microwave-safe dish, melt the white chocolate, stirring after 20-second increments. Pour over the dark chocolate layer. Use a knife or spatula to spread into a smooth layer. Sprinkle with the crushed candy canes. Allow to cool completely. Then, break into pieces and store in an airtight container.
