Gluten Free Easter Blondies

Ingredients

  • 1 stick of butter, softened
  • 1/2 c. brown sugar
  • 2 Tbsp. maple syrup
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1/2 c. milk
  • 1/2 tsp. baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 1 1/2 c. gluten free flour blend
  • 1/4 c. chocolate chips
  • 1/4 c. Easter M&Ms
  • Green Icing
  • Egg-shaped M&Ms

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. In a large mixing bowl, beat the butter and brown sugar until creamed. Next, beat in the maple syrup, egg, vanilla, milk, baking powder, salt, and flour. Stir in the chocolate chips and Easter M&Ms.
  2. Pour batter into a greased 8x8 baking dish or 8 individual baking cups. If desired, top with additional Easter M&Ms. Bake for 18-22 minutes, until golden brown and an inserted toothpick comes out clean. Allow to cool. Then, top with green icing and Easter Egg M&Ms.
