Ingredients
- 6 Tbsp. butter
- 1/2 c. brown sugar
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1 egg + 1 egg yolk
- 1/2 tsp. baking soda
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 3 Tbsp. cream or milk
- 3/4 c. gluten free flour blend
- 3/4 c. butterscotch chips
Instructions
- In a small saucepan, brown the butter over medium heat. Stir continuously and allow to cook for 5-8 minutes, until the butter has turned a golden brown. Immediately remove from the heat and allow to cool for a few minutes.
- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
- In a large mixing bowl, whisk the browned butter, brown sugar, and vanilla. Then, whisk in the egg and egg yolk, baking soda, salt, cream, and gluten free flour bend. Stir in the butterscotch chips.
- Grease or line an 8x8 baking dish. Next, use a spatula to spread the batter into the baking dish. Bake for 18-22 minutes, until an inserted toothpick comes out clean.
- Allow blondies to cool before slicing. If desired, melt additional butterscotch chips and drizzle over the blondies.
