Gluten Free Air Fryer Mozzarella Sticks

For an ooey gooey snack packed with protein, try these homemade gluten free air fryer mozzarella sticks! Way better than store bought using only 4 ingredients!

Ingredients

  • 1 Tbsp. butter
  • 1/4 c. gluten free breadcrumbs
  • 1 egg
  • 4 mozzarella sticks, cut in half

Instructions

  • In a small skillet, heat the butter over low heat. Then, add the breadcrumbs. Cook, stirring often, for about 5 minutes until browned and crisp. Remove from the heat and allow to cool slightly.
  • Dip each cheese stick in the egg mixture. Next, carefully coat in the breadcrumbs. Freeze for at least 1 hour.
  • Set the air fryer to 400 degrees. Turn on for 1-2 minutes to heat. Then, add the mozzarella sticks and cook for 4-5 minutes, until the cheese is soft, but not oozing.
