Ingredients
- Olive oil
- 2 chicken breasts
- Salt and pepper
- 1 jar of salsa (about 16 oz.)
Instructions
- Heat a saucepan with 1-2 Tbsp. of olive oil over medium heat. Then, add the chicken and brown each side for about 5 minutes each. Season with salt and pepper.
- Pour one jar of salsa (about 16 oz.) over the chicken. Next, cover with a lid and allow to simmer for 20 minutes.
- Turn off the stove, remove the lid, and allow the chicken to cool slightly. Then, remove chicken from the pan and shred with two forks or a hand mixer. Return to the pan and stir with the salsa.
