Chicken Parmesan Burgers

Ingredients
- 1 - 1 1/4 lbs. ground chicken or turkey
- 1 Tbsp. coconut aminos or soy sauce
- 1/2 small onion, minced
- 1 clove of garlic, minced
- 2 - 3 Tbsp. Parmesan cheese
- 1 Tbsp. dried oregano
- Salt and pepper
- Olive oil
- 1/2 c. spaghetti sauce
- 4 slices of mozzarella (or 1/2 c. shredded)
- Basil leaves
Instructions
- In a medium mixing bowl, combine the ground chicken, coconut aminos, onion, garlic, Parmesan cheese, oregano, salt, and pepper. Mix with clean hands or a spatula to combine. Create 4 large patties or 12 sliders (or a combination.)
- In a large skillet, heat 1-2 Tbsp. of olive oil over medium heat. Brown each side of the burgers for 5-7 minutes. Top with spaghetti sauce, mozzarella cheese, and basil. Serve with or without a bun.
